Filip Dujardin werd geboren in Gent, België op 14 juli 1971. Hij studeerde Kunstgeschiedenis aan de Universiteit van Gent, specialisatie architectuur. Ook studeerde hij fotografie aan de Academie van Gent en was technisch assistent van Magnum-fotograaf Carl De Keyzer.

Werk & exposities
2000-2006: professionele samenwerking met Frederik Vercruysse – fotograaf.
2007: werkt als onafhankelijk fotograaf voor privépersonen en publieke cliënten, op het gebied van architectuur, interieur en ontwerp. Publiceert zijn werk in nationale en internationale boeken en tijdschriften.
2008: eerste presentatie van artistiek werk ‘Fictions’ in BOZAR (Paleis voor Schone Kunsten   Brussel). Groepsexpositie ‘Exister contre les faits’ in Centre de Design’ in Montréal.
2009: groepsexpositie ‘l’Alibi Documentaire’ in ‘Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles’ – Parijs. Groepsexpositie ‘Ostrale 09’, Internationale Kunsttentoonstelling, Dresden, Duitsland
2010: solo-expo in Chazen Museum of Art in Madison, VS. Duo-expositie met Michele De Lucchi in ‘Casabella Laboratorio’ in Milaan, Italië
2011: solo-expo in Highlight Gallery, San Francisco. Groepsexpositie ‘Highrise-idea and reality’, Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, Zwitserland
2012:  groepsexpositie ‘Photographic Mission : Transgenic Landscape’, werk gemaakt in opdracht van de stad  Guimaraes, Culturele Hoofdstad van Europa 2012. (Portugal). Eerste presentatie van een 3D-installatie gedurende de manifestatie Façade 2012 in Middelburg (Nederland).

Biography Filip Dujardin

– Filip Dujardin was born in Ghent, Belgium on the 14th of July 1971
